Our stay at the Gallini Sea View Hotel in Crete was average. The location with the beautiful sea view was definitely a plus, and the staff was friendly. The rooms and food were OK, but nothing special. There were no major flaws or special highlights. Overall, a solid stay that was neither particularly bad nor outstanding.

Not a 5-star hotel at all, although I'd say the staff were excellent. Location wise it's an easy transfer from Chania Airport and good for the local amenities. The main hotel is up a very steep hill but there is a buggy that regularly loops round and ferries guests up & down. Made getting down to the beach easier. As an all-inclusive guest we found there was plenty of options food wise, as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day. The bad bits.... the bathroom was dirty and the drain in the bathroom floor smelt disgusting. We had to ask for the linen and towels to be changed. Some steps outside were broken and dangerous. Generally just looking a little rundown and needed maintenance to the exterior area around the main pool and beach pool.

This is not a 5 star hotel, maybe 3! Hotel staff was nice but anything else just awful. Dirty rooms, the music was very loud every night which is not cool at all when you have a baby with you. The food was also not great. I would not recommend this to anyone

My husband and adult daughter, recently spent a week at this hotel and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to the TripAdvisor reviews before booking. The overall decor and condition of the rooms, restaurants, pool area, and entrance feel very dated and worn out. It’s clear that the hotel is in need of a full refurbishment to bring it up to modern standards and its claim to 5 stars. While the staff were generally friendly, the tired state of the facilities made the stay quite unenjoyable. This hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis, so you are somewhat compelled to ‘eat-in.’ The selection is fairish, but the quality is poor, with ‘hot’ buffet style food tepid at best, every day. There is an ‘a la carte’ Italian restaurant (serving area) which you get one all-inclusive visit to in your package, and it was a slight improvement. There is no evening entertainment at all. The main bar clears at 11 pm when all-inclusive finishes. This bar is not open during the day, but there is a pool bar and snack bar serving uninspiring pizza and gyros during the day, but that's it. If you're looking for a five-star experience, this is not the place. I hope the management considers renovations soon, as the location has potential—but in its current state, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Το λιγότερο αισχρό. Από πού να αρχίσω δηλαδή. Το ότι υποτίθεται μας αλλάζανε σεντόνια για να είναι καθαρά και ήταν ότι πιο βρώμικο σε σεντόνι υπήρχε και με κηλίδες αίματος ? Το ότι έμπαινε μέσα το room service και μας ανακάτευε τα ρούχα και τα έβαζε σε άλλες βαλίτσες και μετά τα ψάχναμε ? Το γεγονός ότι κάποια αγόρια βρήκαν κοριούς στα κρεβάτια και η ρεσεψιόν δε τους πίστευε και από πάνω ? Ή το χειρότερο από όλα που σχεδόν ξεκληρίστηκαν τα μισά άτομα από τροφική δηλητηρίαση καταλήγοντας στο νοσοκομείο ? Απαράδεκτοι καλύτερα κλείστε το.

Property exterior looks good but it’s not very well clean and maintained. Our room had mould on walls. Bathroom smells of dirty stagnant water. Mould around shower door and sink. Our leak we flooded the bathroom and had to stay in room for two nights before we got a different room. My daughter has allergies which prone to skin conditions exposure to dust and inhale of mould. I have all the pictures of how disgusting the room is and even when we were change room was a bit better but still dirty. House keepers did understand when we explain about the bathroom and dust everywhere. They came and use bleach to mask the scent of the stagnant water. The positive was choice of food was different ever from the main restaurant.
